We are Claudio and Caterina, the heart of Curù! Husband and wife for almost nineteen years and life companions from the "distant" 1993. In 2015 we bought an old house in Castellammare del Golfo and we completely renovated it as a meeting place for those arriving in our wonderful island. Thus was born in June 2016 Curù. Claudio is an engineer, passionate about travel and photography, a lover of food and good wine, which is why he has also been an AIS sommelier for some years. Always ready to give you the right advice on nearby beaches, places to eat and villages to visit ... to make you feel on vacation like you were a local. I, Caterina, forgetful by nature, am called Dory by our son Giorgio because I suffer from short-term memory loss (we are talking about the Dory from the cartoon "Finding Nemo"). I worked for many years as a sales clerk in gift and home furnishing shops, hence my immoderate passion for everything related to home textiles and props of various kinds, modern and vintage. You will find me, in the morning, waiting for you and pampering you during breakfast. Curù is the place that unites our passions: visiting new destinations, meeting people from other parts of the world, welcoming and creating moments of conviviality, being proud of our origins. We are Curù, in our simplicity and truthfulness and what we always hope is that all this can be perceived by those who choose us.
